JANE R. DIERDORFF, age 72, of Abingdon, died in Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, on April 20, 2004. Born in Fort Des Moines, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Paul Irwin and Marjorie Frances Haliburton Robinson, and the wife of the late H. Beecher Dierdorff, Jr. She had retired as a medical scientific technical illustrator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Area. Widowed in 1966, she worked hard raising all her children. She enjoyed her children and their friends growing up around Edgewood. She was active with Partners in Reading, and founder and secretary of the Edgewood Area Senior Center Bridge Group. She was active with the Boy Scouts of America in her younger years. She was an artist and loved water colors.
Mrs. Dierdorff is survived by one son, Paul R. Dierdorff and his wife, Sue of Parkton; three daughters, Patricia Dianne Dierdorff of Bel Air; Peggy Jeanne Waterworth of Forest Hill; Pamela Suzanne Sparks of Bel Air; daughter-in-law, Tina Brinegar of Havre de Grace; one sister, Judy Ann Hydeman of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Kyle Brinegar of Havre de Grace; Adam Roetter of Tampa, Florida; Kelly Brinegar of Havre de Grace; Greg Waterworth of Forest Hill; Robbie Dierdorff of Parkton; and Melissa Dierdorff of Parkton. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Warren T. Brinegar.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Brinegar, Paul Dierdorff, Charlie Jones, Bob Lockhoff, Ed Meadows, and Steve Zaleski
