Jane Patricia Guy

Jane Patricia Guy, age 72, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 1, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was blessed to have spent the last part of her life in loving care of her family, Lisa, Pete, Gianna, Petey, and Alex. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Augustin and Minnie Somerlock Hatfield and wife of the late Bruce Carter Guy. She lived most of her life in Hamilton, MD where she lovingly raised her family before moving to Bel Air. A past member of the American Legion in Parkville, she had worked for the U.S. Government as a receptionist. She also enjoyed working at the Hecht Company in Bel Air from 1999-2002. While devoting her life to her family, she loved to cook and bake for them. She loved watching TV, especially Wheel of Fortune, with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Guy is survived by a son, Daniel Guy of Austin, TX; daughters, Laurie Landers of Ohio, Linda Guy of Alaska, and Lisa Ridolfi of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Charles Hatfield of Delaware and John Hatfield of Forest Hill, MD; and twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Bruce Martin Guy and a sister, Sue Tracey.
