Jane Forrest Kuehne

Jane Forrest Kuehne, age 80, of Street, Maryland, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Ridgely, Maryland, she was the daughter of Irvin and Mary Jane (Starkey) Forrest.

Jane dedicated her life to caring for others. She operated her own daycare for children in her home for many years and was also a devoted elder caregiver. Children were her passion, and she was known for her nurturing spirit and loving nature. A craft lover, Jane enjoyed creating beautiful handmade items and loved music, especially that of Jimmy Fortune.

Jane is survived by her loving husband, Robert Kuehne; her three sons, R. Michael "Mike" Kuehne and wife Reina, Ronald D. Kuehne and wife Joanie, and Brent A. Kuehne and wife Emily; her nephew, Eddie Kuehne and wife Carla; her great-niece, Morgan Kuehne; and her eleven beloved grandchildren: Alexandra, Madelyn, Kelsey, John, Mikie, Peyton, Jameson, Jonathan, Kirsten, Michaela, and Elisha.
