Jamie L. Rood

Jamie Lynn Rood, age 39, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on January 25, 2018 at her home after a courageous 2 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Born in Carlisle, PA, she was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Aberdeen and prior to her illness, she was employed by Greenfield Senior Living where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Dementia Unit. Jamie loved vacationing at Walt Disney World and Virginia Beach with her family and was an avid Star Wars fan.

Jamie is survived by her husband of 13 years, Jeremy Rood, daughters, Rachel Minerich and Aubrey Rood; son, Colton Rood and her dog, Jade. Jamie is also survived by her mother, Deborah Behrens, father and stepmother, James and Kathryn Behrens; brother, Jeremy Behrens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
