Great-grandfather of Ella, Abby and Grayson. Brother of Hamilton Shields, Dwight Shields, Eleanor Waggoner, Leota Abdella and Ella Simmonds. Visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 3-6 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Service will be Saturday at 5:30 PM from the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mingo Cemetery in West Virginia.
