James "Wayland" Hinton

James "Wayland" Hinton, 58, of Harford County passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, November 20, 2014. Born on March 10, 1956 in Joppa, MD, he was the son of the late James Wayland Hinton Sr. and Ruth (Steinmetz) Hinton. He was known best as Wayland by friends, WayWay by family and Pop-Pop by his beloved grandchildren. He loved his family and grandchildren. He was an avid fan of anything involving trucks and cars, but was best known for his clean vehicles.

He leaves behind his loving memories to be cherished by his loving wife, Brenda; his daughter, Lisa and husband, Bryant; granddaughters, Audrie and Keelyn; his son, Rob and wife Rachel, grandkids, Noah, Brinley and new baby Sophie; his sisters, Christine and Cindy; and brothers, Jimbo and John. Also survived by former wife and friend, Cindy Hinton; loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan; daughter, Melissa Lynn; and brother-in-law, Scott.
