James V. Cullum

James V. Cullum, age 81, of Perry Point, MD, died on January 25, 2011 at Baltimore VA Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late James Vinton Cullum Sr. and Beverly Cullum, and husband of the late Dorothy Isabelle Cullum, who he married on September 29, 1975. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1952 to 1957, and worked as an Army transportation driver where he drove jeeps and trucks. He worked at many places and loved fishing and watching boats. He also loved sitting in his yard, watching his grandchildren play, his dogs, driving tractors everywhere, attending church and God. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Cullum is the loving dad of Rosemary Elizabeth Preston and her husband, Sam, of Havre de Grace, MD and son, Billy Cullum of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Roseanne Preston and husband, Jonathan Preston Burg, and Sam Preston Jr. all of Havre de Grace, MD; great-grandchildren, Lizzy Varner, Amber Varner, Christopher Preston, Isiah Preston Burg, and Brandon Preston Burg, all of Havre de Grace, MD.
