James S. Brush

JAMES S. BRUSH, age 85, of Street, died at his home on January 26, 2004. Born in Bradshaw, Maryland, he was the son of the late James and Stella Zielinska Brus. He had retired after 40 years of service with Bethlehem Steel as a machinist. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WW II and was in the 4th Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force.

Mr. Brush is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eileen W. Dye Brush; five sons, Howard S. Brush of Gardenville, Maryland; Rodney C. Brush, Sr. of Street; Christopher J. Brush of Riverside Beach, Maryland; Peter N. Brush of Bel Air; Paul A. Brush of Perry Hall; two daughters, Theresa L. Cimino of Golden Ring; Angela M. Leilich of Bel Air; three brothers, John Brush of Dundalk; Alex Brus of Dundalk; Joey Brush of York, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Sophie Javorski of Baltimore; Jane Foble of Essex; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, David A. Brush.
