James Roland Hooker, age 82, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 11, 2018 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Roland and Ruby (Howell) Hooker and husband of the late Mary (Jones) Hooker. He had worked for Klein’s Grocery Store as a meat cutter, enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting with his hunting dogs.
Mr. Hooker is survived by his sons, David (Denielle) A. Hooker of North East, Michael W. Hooker of Abingdon, Mark (Jeanette) A. Hooker of Havre de Grace and Daniel (Sheila) G. Hooker of Darlington; sister, Margaret Kambarn of Tularosa, NM; 15 Grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded by his son, James R. Hooker and daughter, Josette M. Kuriger.
