JAMES OSCAR SWAIN, age 55, of Bel Air, died in Kingsville on June 2, 2005. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, he was the son of the late Oscar McMullan and Mary Temple Swain. He worked as the assistant service manager at Plaza Ford. He had also worked at Hinder Ford. He enjoyed riding motor cycles and worked on sewing machines. He enjoyed collecting Hollywood memorabilia and Beetle albums. He was very fond of his dogs, Crickett and Snuggles.
Mr. Swain is survived by his wife, whom he had been together with for 26 years, Margaret Joann Zellman Swain; one son, William Merrill Swann,( this is the correct spelling for his last name) Jr. of Bel Air; two daughters, Tonya Renee Lewis of Vermont and Kristen Ashley Swain of Bel Air; three grandchildren, Jonathon Lewis and Brian Lewis of Vermont, and Joanna Doebler of Tennessee; three nieces, Amber R. Cookerly, Shannon T. Cookerly, and Victoria R. Cookerly all of Baltimore. Also survived by long time friend of 30 years, Lyle Albright of West Virginia and Frank Weatherstein of Pylesville. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Mary Ann Swain.
