James L. Reedy

James L. Reedy, 67, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on April 7, 2015 at his home. Born in Tower Hill, IL, he was the son of the late Jack Stanley Reedy and Alta Kathryn Ireland Reedy. He retired from the U.S. Navy and, for 15 years, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was looked upon as a mentor and involved in many church activities. He enjoyed all of his grandchildren especially Pappy's Little Buddy Jason. He loved to cook and enjoyed Bluegrass music.

Mr. Reedy is survived by his wife, Linda L. Reedy; son, Mark Reedy (Marie) of St. Bernard Parish, LA and step-son Joshua Hahn of Bel Air; daughters, Rebecca Reedy (Charles) of Bridgeport, OH and Katie Reedy of Richmond, KY; brothers, Jack L. Reedy and Patrick A. Reedy of Taft, CA, Ronald D. Reedy (Janet) and Larry W. Reedy both of Colorado Springs, CO and; sisters, Melody A. Alden and Nancy S. Shannon (Eric) both of Taft, CA; and 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, James Reedy and brother, Gene Reedy.
