James Matthew Kellner Sr.

James Matthew Kellner Sr., 71, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of the late George and Catherine (Schenning) Kellner and the devoted husband of Christine Mary Kellner (Salwach) for 45 wonderful years.

A dedicated member of Mountain Christian Church since 1992, James lived his life guided by faith, love, and service. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. Known for his warm heart and strong values, James built a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Professionally, James was a respected pharmacist for 47 years, serving his community and veterans at the Perry Point VA with compassion and commitment.

James is survived by his loving wife, Christine; his sons, James Kellner Jr., and Joshua Kellner (Emily); his daughter, Alicia Dowell (Nicholas); his adored grandchildren Logan, Ethan, and Olivia; and his brother, Christian Kellner.

James’s impact on his family, friends, and community will forever be remembered.
