James John Amerena

JAMES JOHN AMERENA, age 87, of Joppa, MD, died on March 12, 2006 at his home. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late John and Raphaela Andreotti Amerena. He was a sales manager for Baltimore Diesel. He was a member of Holy Spirit Church and the Knights of Columbus in Joppa, MD. Interested in aircraft, he worked as a mechanic for American Airlines prior to entering the US Army where he served during WW II.

Mr. Amerena is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Russell Amerena with whom he celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past September 17; two sons, John R. Amerena of Medford, MA and James P. Amerena of Mt. Airy, MD; two daughters, Judith L. Amey of Catonsville, MD and Janet M. Kinstler of Severn, MD; one brother, Patrick A. Amerena of Addison, IL; and three grandchildren, Patrick Amerena and Matthew Amerena, both of Mt. Airy, MD and Gina Amerena of Medford, MA.
