James "Jim" W. Wagg, age 76, of Churchville, Maryland entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Rocks, Maryland, he was the son of the John Bayse Wagg and Lena Ennice (Cox) Wagg. He was the owner and operator of Jim Wagg Concrete in Churchville for over 30 years, a very hard worker who had strong integrity making sure that his job was done right. A loving husband, father and a wonderful teacher, he loved his weekend getaways with the family. He enjoyed spending time on the water, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle, as well as traveling north to the mountains and camping. He loved kids and had pet names for his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Wheel Road Valley Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and really enjoyed his monthly meeting with the Church at Brightview Assisted Living.
Mr. Wagg is survived by his wife, Wanda Lea (Crouse-Bloxom) Wagg; three daughters, Kelly K Ruff, Kerry L Sandlass and Jeannie "Becky" Burns; two sons, James "Andy" Wagg and David A. Bloxom; sister, Gladys P. Hale; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Wright, Michael Ruff, Miranda Guethler, Laine Wagg, Amanda Wurm, Kayla Burns, Savannah Day and Brady Day; and four great grandchildren, Landon Wright, Lacey Wright, Hadley Guethler and Watson Guethler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Faye (Thompson) Wagg; son, Lauren "Scotty" Barnett; brothers, John C. Wagg and Alfred “Eugene” Wagg; and sister, Verna "Louise" Jordan.
