James J. Eberwine Sr.

August 18, 1927 — October 20, 2014

James J. Eberwine, Sr., of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 20, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George Edward and Mary Frances Clifford Eberwine. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 35 years where he retired in 2007 as a Financial Manager. A former member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, he was a current member of St. Margaret where he was involved in the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered for four years at both Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Franklin Square Hospital. He loved baseball, golf and football.

Mr. Eberwine is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rama Mays Eberwine; son, James J. Eberwine, Jr. and his wife, Emily, of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Patricia A. Eberwine of Santa Monica, CA; brother, George E. Eberwine and his wife, Roseann Quinn Eberwine, of Conshohocken, PA; and sister, Mary F. Eberwine of Fort Myers, FL.
