James H. Webster, age 80, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on October 30, 2012 at Perry Point Veterans Hospital in Perry Point, MD. Born in Fort Totten, NY, he was the son of the late James Harvey and Adavene Moore Webster. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served our country as a combat photographer in the Korean War, Bay of Pigs and Baghdad. A lifetime member of the VFW he also belonged to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Abingdon. He enjoyed reading history, building model airplanes, traveling and spending time with the grandchildren and taking them fishing.
Mr. Webster is survived by his wife, Carolyn A. Webster of Edgewood, MD; son, Steven J. Webster and wife, Susan, of Reading, PA; daughters, Sheila A. Wilmer of Millersville, MD, Hope E. Wilmer of Edgewood, MD and Heidi M. Weitzel and husband, Lenny, of Strasburg, PA; brother, Ness Webster of Long Beach, NJ; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Eugene Webster.
