James Glorioso, age 91, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on December 24, 2012 at Maples Assisted Living in Towson, MD surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baton Rouge, LA, and raised in Cefalu, Sicily, he was the son of the late Salvatore Glorioso and Vincenza Guercio-Glorioso. A graduate of Camp Richie's military intelligence training school, he served our country in WWII as a Master Sergeant and Chief Interrogator with the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was the owner and operator of Jim's Barber Shop on Main Street in Bel Air, a parishioner and longtime usher at St. Margaret Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Glorioso is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred Arlene Glorioso; daughters, Belinda V. Perfetto of Aston, PA and Cindy M. Glorioso of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Tara Perfetto-Wiest, Stacey Glorioso-Eberle and Richard Glorioso; and four great-grandchildren Carter, Reese, Ayla and Ari James. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Salvatore Glorioso and sister, Mary Vazzana.
