James Gilbert Elliott

James Gilbert Elliott, died at his home at the age of 80. Mr. Elliott was born in Rosedale, MD, son of the late Margaret Vogel Elliott and the late Edward Francis Elliott, both of Baltimore, MD. In 1951, he married Veralee (Gainey) Elliott and resided in the Parkville-Perry Hall area of Baltimore County from 1951-1986. The couple then moved to Easton, MD and remained for 19 years. These past five years have been spent in Forest Hill, MD near his family. Mr. Elliott spent 40 years working in the automotive business, retiring from the position of Parts and Service Director at Bob Davidson Ford. He moved to the Eastern Shore where he remained for 19 years, during which time he was employed at the Talbot County Library for six years.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Veralee (Gainey) Elliott, two sons, Dennis James Elliott and wife, Jennifer Ann, of Parkville, MD, David John Elliott and wife, Jo Ann, of Forest Hill, MD; one daughter, Becky Lynn Elliott Crist and husband, Stephen Ray Crist, of Fallston, MD; 11 grandchildren, Dennis James Elliott Jr. and wife, Kristy Lynn, Timothy Matthew Elliott, Adam Christopher Elliott, Sydney Lee Elliott, Sarah Alice Elliott, James Travis Elliott, and Benjamin David Elliott, also Eric Stephen Crist and wife, Laura, Michael Elliott Crist, Bradley Ryan Crist, and Karey Lynn Crist; two great-granddaughters, Chelsea Abigail Elliott and Samantha Brady Elliott; and Kristie Nestor Elliott, mother of Dennis, Timothy, and Adam. Mr. Elliott is predeceased by two brothers, Edward Robert Elliott of Lutherville, MD and Donald George Elliott of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
