James Edward Mays

James Edward Mays, age 79, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on April 29, 2022 at home. Born in Marion, Virginia, he was the son of the late Russell and Vera (Kirk) Mays and husband of the late Dorothy Jane Mays. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing in his younger days, cooking and baking, and even gardening.

James is survived by his sons, James Russell Mays and his wife Sherry, Steven Mays and his wife Sharon; grandchildren, Sarah, Gracelyn, and Kendall; half brother, John Medley and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
