James E. Moody

JAMES E. MOODY, 82, of Bel Air died at Harford Memorial Hospital on November 25, 2003. Born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Paul Bonzy and Carrie V. Wood Moody. He graduated from Richard J. Reynolds High School in 1939. He was retired from Aberdeen Proving Grounds after 30 years of service where he was an accountant. He was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church where he volunteered with the food bank and was a past president of the Golden Age Club at the church. He was a member of the Bel Air American Legion and AARP where he served in several leadership positions. He served in the Army during WWII.

Mr. Moody is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vera C. McShane Moody; a son, Sammy D. Moody of Stafford, Virginia; two step-sons, F. Patrick McShane of Charleston, South Carolina and Thomas C. McShane of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Perry L. Moody of Edgewood and Christopher L. Moody of Aberdeen; and a great grandson, Perry J. Moody of Edgewood. He was predeceased by a son, Harry L. Moody
