James E. Hull

JAMES E. HULL, age 75, of Edgewood, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD, on September 3, 2007. Born in Wyno, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Phillip and Mildred Violet Davis Hull. In 1972, he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service having served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He was a member of the American Legion, Edgewood. An avid golfer, he enjoyed sports. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Hull is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara A. Rodrick Hull of Edgewood, MD; four sons, James Edward Hull, Jr. of Bartlesville, OK, Robert F. Smith of Edgewood, MD, Richard M. Smith of Edgewood, MD, and Kevin E. Smith of Lake Butler, FL; two daughters, Jackie L. Franklin of Elkton, MD and Jeanne M. Ferguson of Abingdon, MD; a brother, Jacob Hull of Connellsville, PA; a sister, Janet Hurtt of Camden, DE; and 12 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hull was predeceased by four brothers, Robert Hull, William Hull, Eugene Hull, and Charles Hull and two sisters, Margaret Copeland and Lucille Hull.

Pallbearers will be: James E. Hull, Jr., Robert F. Smith, Richard M. Smith, Kevin E. Smith, Joseph S. McBride, and Douglas E. Ferguson.
