James Breece Farmer

September 26, 1932 — October 16, 2008

James Breece Farmer, age 76, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 16, 2008 at Jersey Shore Hospital, Jersey Shore, PA. Born in Grassy Creek, VA, he was the son of the late James Aurther and Ola Wave McGrady Farmer and husband of the late Patricia Anne Farmer. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Farmers Furniture Company for 28 years, where he retired in 1992. He was a past member of Emmorton Baptist Church, Bel Air, MD.

Mr. Farmer is survived by a son, Gene B. Farmer and wife, Cindy, of Oakland, MD; a daughter, Lorraine E. Conley and husband, Jerry, of Edgewood, MD; a brother, Ted Farmer of Virginia; two sisters, Irene Lunsford and Iva Barker of Virginia; four grandchildren, Nicholas R. and Brandon B. Farmer of Oakland, MD, and Amber D. and James D. Conley of Edgewood, MD; and dear friend, Sylvia Proffitt of Woolrich, PA.
