James Albert Caldwell Sr., 68, of Belcamp, MD passed away on April 25, 2015 at his home. Born in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late Albert Caldwell and Nellie Mae Houck Medley. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He worked for Maryland Portable Concrete as a truck driver for the past few years and was a member of the Abingdon VFW and Aberdeen American Legion.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Agnes Eury Caldwell; daughter, Tamera Lynn Caldwell of Aberdeen; son, James A. Caldwell Jr. of Belcamp; brother, John L. Medley of Newark, DE; sister, Carlotta E. Crouse of Conowingo; grandchildren, Hayley Raye Nichols and Tessa Lynette Nichols; and step grandson, Sean Lucas.
Pallbearers will be James A. Caldwell Jr., Patrick Lucas, Josh Medley, Brian Bieschke, Mike Blackmer and Ron "Elvis" Stopford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Abingdon VFW Post #5337, 3705 Pulaski Highway, Abingdon, MD 21009.
