James A. Morehead

James A. Morehead, age 78, of Joppa, MD, died on January 26, 2009 at his home. Born in Urichsville, OH, he was the son of the late Chester Allison Arthur and Lillie Wade Echard Morehead. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 1968. He had worked as an electrician for Aberdeen Proving Grounds from 1972-1985. He was a member of AARP, Masonic Lodge Square and Compass #8, Disabled American Veterans and the National Association for Uniform Services.

Mr. Morehead is survived by his wife of 53 years, Fusako Ishimasa Morehead of Joppa, MD; daughter, Connie Ann Morehead-Lowery and husband, Darrell, of Joppa, MD;a brother, William Morehead and his wife, Norma, of Ohio; a sister Arlene Wardell of Ohio; and three grandchildren, Sarah Christen Lowery, Alexandra Nicole Lowery and Simeon Leigh Owens.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Lowery, Gregory Johnson, Coltan Taylor, Takeo Ishimasa, Paul Miller, and Simeon Owens.
