Jackie Piper Morrissey, age 76, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on April 5, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Louis M. and Jacqueline Hope (Keebler) Miller. She was an avid reader, enjoyed building and sharing her Christmas village, dollhouses and the displays for her Byer’s Choice dolls. She also loved going to the beach, traveling, going on adventures with family and friends and keeping in touch with all the people she met over the years. She especially enjoyed going to the Mother’s Day Brunch at Waters Edge with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never slowed down.
Mrs. Morrissey is survived by her husband, Lex Morrissey; sons, Greg Piper (Sandi), Andy Piper (Bonnie), John Morrissey (Celeste), and Brendan Morrissey (Colleen); daughters, Jackie Piper and Kristin Gregg-Nagy (Tom); brother, Victor Miller (Mary); grandchildren, Joy, Ashlie, Erin, Brianna, Brooke, Bobby, Kevin, Tommy, Bridgette, Ellee, Brianne and Caitlyn; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Heath and Jaxon; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ned C. Piper who was a retired U.S. Army Master Sargent, and her siblings, Susan Cox, Tony Miller and Anne Katz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Margaret School, 205 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014.
