Jack Jones Jr.

Jack Jones Jr., age 64, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on August 22, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Jackie Harrison Jones Sr. and Margaret Martha Harris Ozick. A resident of Edgewood for 30 years, he was employed for 30 years at G. Heileman Brewery where he was a forklift operator. In 1961 he went to Korea for Martial Arts training and returned in 1972 to the States as a Martial Arts Master. He obtained a 7h Degree Master Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, a 6th Degree Black Belt in Aikido and a 3rd Degree Brown Belt in Dim-Mak. He participated in 150 fights which included Thai fighting. He loved his family and would do anything for them.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Jean Jones of Edgewood; sons, Keith Anthony Jones of Cumberland, Charles James Jones of Baltimore, Raymond Walter Jones and wife, April May Jones, of Blackwater, VA, Jack Harrison Jones III of Edgewood, Bill William Jones and wife, Susan Jones, of Charlotte, NC and Patrick Andrew Jones Sr. and wife, Ashley Nicole Jones, of Edgewood; sister, Frances Jones of Baltimore; grandchildren, Patrick Andrew Jones Jr., Destiny Hope Jones, Loralie Michelle Jones, Annabelle Rose Jones, Rachel Evelyn Jones, Luke Ian Jones, Alex William Jones, Morgan Elizabeth Jones, Jordan Gabrielle Jones and soon to be granddaughter, Abaigal Cambria Jones; and in-laws, Karen Lynn Derrow, Sherry Elizabeth Peacock, Ron Howard Peacock and Brenda Lee Tate. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles James Jones.
