Jack H. Laye

“JACK” H. LAYE, age 45, of Churchville, died at Stella Maris Hospice on July 15, 2005. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Stanley Leroy and Margaret Jane Harris Laye. He was self-employed and worked as a computer repairman and delivered medical supplies. He was also the caretaker of his parents for several years. He was an avid hiker, fisherman, gardener, and astronomer.

Mr. Laye is survived by three brothers, Frederick Laye of Bel Air, Stanley L. Laye, Jr. of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Hall Randolph Laye of Port Deposit; one sister, Barbara Mae Ely of Pylesville; and a cousin Connie M. Lamb of Davidsonville, MD.

Pallbearers were: Carl Hohenberger, Clarence Ely, Bob Lamb, Randy Laye, H. Randy Laye, and Michael Laye. Honorary pallbearer was Keith Fulloway.
