Jack E. Bowman

Jack E. Bowman, age 92, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 26, 2023 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of J. David and Naomi Grace (Koontz) Bowman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Jack was employed at The Belko Corporation for 40 years, serving as President for 15 years prior to his retirement in 1995. He was an active member of Bel Air United Methodist Church. Upon his retirement, Jack enjoyed his wood carving of birds and ducks.

Jack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Sarah (Stonebraker) Bowman; sons, Douglas (Suzanne) Bowman and David (Vicki) Bowman; daughter, Diane (Christopher) Steffens. He cherished his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John David Bowman, Jr. and Harry Sidney Bowman.
