Jack D. Williams of Port Charlotte, Florida, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2006.
He was born in Georgia on April 28, 1933 to W. Garfield and Eula (Passmore) Williams. Corporal Jack Williams served in the United States Army for four years. He raised his family in Maryland, where he worked for Genstar Stone Products (now known as LaFarge) in Cockeysville for thirty-two years. Mr. Williams was a member of Emmorton Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland. He recently retired to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2000 where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and working for Pro Powder Coating Incorporated in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Nanette Williams of Port Charlotte, Florida, his two sons, Duane Williams and wife, Cherish of Wasilla, Alaska and John Williams and wife, Jamie of Edgewood, Maryland, two granddaughters, Alyssa and Hayley Williams of Edgewood, Maryland, and sister, Patricia Hogan Barber of Georgia.
