J. Woody Mccombs

J. WOODY McCOMBS, age 52, of Aberdeen, died at his home on July 21, 2005. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Helen Maxine Levina McCombs of Joppa and the late Woodrow Richard McCombs. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked on road construction for American Infrastructure. A life long resident of Harford County, he was a big John Wayne fan, enjoyed professional wrestling, and working on cars. He worked for Jeff Prevost by delivering the Sun Paper at night for many years.

In addition to his mother, Mr. McCombs is survived by his wife of 19 years, Patsy Anne Sapp McCombs; two sons, Samuel E. McCombs and his wife, Emily D. and James M. McCombs, all of Aberdeen; one step-son, Gary W. McDonald and his wife, Melissa K. of Frederick; one brother, Donald McCombs of Forest Hill; two sisters, Barbara Krause of Forest Hill and Brenda Conners of Joppa; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth K. McDonald of Frederick.
