IRIS MEYER LUFBURROW, age 80, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 13, 2007 at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Meyer and the late Lula Tyler Cornelius. A Harford county resident for 21 years, she was also a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church for 21 years, where she enjoyed working on crafts and was part of the Nimble Finger Group. A member of the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Ocean City, NJ and had attended 15 cruises.
Mrs. Lufburrow is survived by her husband of 60 years, John E. Lufburrow Sr. of Bel Air, MD; a son, John E. Lufburrow Jr. and his wife, Charlene, of Havre de Grace, MD; two daughters, Lynda Trueblood and her husband, Mike, of Orlando, FL, and Sandy Bishop and her husband, Michael, of Huntingtown, MD; nine grandchildren, Terri Bianchi of St. Petersburg, FL, Kelly Sage of Towson, MD, John E. Lufburrow III of Florence, SC, Michele Trueblood of Orlando, FL, Andrew Lufburrow of Havre de Grace, MD, Jeffrey Trueblood of Orlando, FL, Michael Bishop Jr. of Dahlonega, GA, David Bishop of Huntingtown, MD, and Katie Bishop of Huntingtown, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Hedrick.
Pallbearers will be Robert Sage, John E. Lufburrow III, Andrew Lufburrow, Jeffrey Trueblood, Michael Bishop Jr., and David Bishop.
