Irene Sherman

IRENE SHERMAN, age 78, of Bel Air, died in University of Maryland Hospital on February 13, 2005. Born in Bel Air, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Grace Brown Hatcher, and the wife of the late Stevenson Donald Sherman. She had retired after 20 years of service with Kunkel Service Company where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Keenagers group. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sherman is survived by one daughter, Donna L. Berryman and her husband, Andrew J. of Street; two brothers, Terry Hatcher of Westchester, Pennsylvania; Jack Hatcher of Bel Air; two grandchildren, Tami L. Scarborough; Todd Scarborough, both of Street; and one great-grandson, Jordan Scarborough, also of Street. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Steve T. Sherman; a daughter-in-law, Ann Sherman; one brother, Herbert Hatcher; and one sister, Sidni Peters.
