Irene M. Rogers

Irene M. Rogers age 79, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, at Lorien Bel Air in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Dundalk, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Mary (Benkowski) Rutkowski and the devoted wife of Nelson Rogers, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.

Irene served as a dedicated secretary for the Maryland Veterans Association #1 in the public defender’s office. She was also a cherished member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, where she contributed her time and talents.

An avid antique collector, Irene had a passion for finding unique treasures, including teddy bears, crystal vases, and fine dishware. She enjoyed attending antique shows with Nelson, always searching for special pieces to add to her collection. Irene was known for her love of custom-made sweaters and her thoughtful, kind-hearted nature, which touched everyone who knew her.

Irene will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her consideration for others, and the joy she brought to those around her.
