Irene H. Bowyer

IRENE H. BOWYER, age 88, of Dundalk, MD, died on October 11, 2007 at John Hopkins Bayview, Baltimore, MD. Born in Draffin, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Emmitt Hawkins and the late Nancy Jane Mullins and wife of the late James H. Bowyer. She had worked as a seamstress in a sewing factory. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and knitting.

Mrs. Bowyer is survived by one son, J.D. Bartley Jr. and his wife, Hilda, of Edgewood, MD; two grandchildren, Duane A. Bartley of Riva, MD and Brian D. Bartley and his wife, Wendy, of Perry Hall, MD; and two step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
