Irelene Woods

Irelene Woods, age 84, of Joppa, MD, died on January 25, 2010 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Amonate, VA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Ray and Daisy Dean Beavers Young. She was a member of Crosspoint, formerly Missionary Alliance, where she did volunteer work. A graduate of Big Creek High School in War, WV, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her husband, who she married on January 15, 1949, James Robert Woods Jr. of Joppa, MD; brother, Donald Young and wife, Marion, of RI and Arvil Roy Young of SC; sisters, June Denoff and husband, Frank, of WV and Joyce Pertee of MI; and many nieces and nephews.
