Ira Lawrence Simpson

Ira Lawrence Simpson, age 80, of Bel Air, MD, died on November 6, 2008 at his home. Born in Harwich, MA, he was the son of the late Albert L. and Lillian G. Buck Simpson. He served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Churchville, MD, where he enjoyed playing the organ. He also enjoyed playing the piano and organ at home.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Catherine Mary Kedzior Simpson of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Karen Boley of Batton Rouge, LA and Bonnie Castaneda of Lancaster, KY; a brother, Albert Simpson of Cor de Lain, OR; a sister Lorraine Simpson of Massachusetts; and six grandchildren, Joseph, James and Christine Boley, Stephanie Jones and Christian and Isabel Castaneda.
