Ida-Mae Jane Pierce

Ida-Mae Jane Pierce, age 81, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on April 20, 2022. Born in Rochdale, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Herve and Eva (Filion) Forest and wife of 41 years to the late Harold Pierce before his passing in 2002. She was a longtime member, church secretary and “Jack of all trades” at Evangel Assembly of God in Aberdeen. Music was an integral part of her life. She enjoyed playing the guitar, but she loved singing, even until her final days.  

Ida is survived by her children, Robert M. Pierce and wife Lauren Sheriff, Thomas J. Pierce and wife Pam, Sharon M. Simon and husband Tom; brother, Raymond Forest and wife Jane, and sisters-in-laws, Sue Modine and Kathy Barry. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marie Toyama, Angela Simon, Thomas Simon, Missey Rose Simon, Rachel Snedegar, Jesse Pierce, Lamont Hall, Devon Hall, Alexxus Ritter and Thealisa Kornegan; and 10 great-grandchildren.             

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service on May 7th, 2022, at 2pm, at Evangel Assembly of God, 801 N. Paradise Rd., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
