Hugh "Bud" Alexander, age 74, of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 3, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, he is the son of the late Robert Ignatius and Margaret Agnes Tahaney Alexander. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country in the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Alexander's Trash Removal, a member of the American Legion in Hickory, liked watching NASCAR and had a great love for his dogs and cat.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Alexander; son, Hugh F. "BJ" Alexander Jr. of Bel Air; daughters, Kimberly Anne Gorsuch and husband, Richard, of Fallston and Kelly Lynn Warden and husband, Tony, of Belcamp; sisters, Mary Ellen Carman and Margaret Tirri, both of Fallston; and grandchildren, Colleen and Jenna Warden and Amanda and Thomas Gorsuch. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John R. Alexander.
