Hugh ''Bill'' S. Knight

Hugh "Bill" S. Knight, age 76, of Joppa, MD, passed away on October 27, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Hugh Smith Knight Sr. and Lucretia Monks Knight. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired after 36 years from Verizon where he worked as a lineman. He loved football, both the Bears and Ravens, and watching cowboy movies.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife of 15 years, Patricia Ghirardi Wilbur Knight of Joppa, MD; sons, Michael Knight and wife, Sabrina, and Jeffrey Knight, all of Parkville, MD; stepsons, John H. Wilbur of Lutherville, MD and Steve S. Wilbur of White Marsh, MD; stepdaughter, Connie Y. Dausch and husband, Girard, of Aberdeen, MD; sister, Jeannie Delgavio of White Marsh, MD; nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lois O'Berry.
