HOWARD JAMES YOUNGER JR., age 87, a longtime resident of Forest Hill, MD, died on July 31, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Howard James and Alvena Rezac Younger and husband of the late Kathryn Monks Younger. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. He worked many years at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a civilian printer. An avid hunter, he was involved with the Moose Lodge, American Legion Post #39, and the VFW.
Mr. Younger is survived by two sons, H. James Younger III and his wife, Christina, of Ellicott City, Maryland, and Gary L. Younger of Maryland; one brother, Vincent K. Younger of Aberdeen, Maryland; one sister, Frances L. Johnson of Timonium, Maryland; and three grandchildren, Kristin Younger and her husband Eric Brown of Arlington, Virginia, Erin Younger of Arlington, Virginia, and Justin Younger of Bel Air, Maryland. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles R. Younger.
