Howard "Howdy" Jackson Mccann, Jr.

Howard “Howdy” Jackson McCann, Jr., age 71, of Fallston, passed away on March 9, 2023, at his home. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Helen (Bowman) McCann and the late Howard J. McCann, Sr. Known locally for his effervescent personality and plumbing expertise, his other passion was aviation. As an internationally recognized airshow announcer he shared that love and enthusiasm. Through nearly 40 years and over 500 airshows, his larger-than-life persona touched millions of people.

Howdy is survived by his mother Helen McCann, his sister, Jacqueline Schnell, and her husband, John Schnell. He was a unique and loving uncle to Holly and Joseph Upton and Jennifer and Chris Hill plus a great uncle to Jackson, Jeremiah and Joseph Upton and Brayden, Spencer, and Kacey Hill.

Visitation will be held at 10 am on March 21st at Fallston United Methodist Church, 1509 Fallston Road, Fallston, Maryland, 21047. A celebration of life will follow at 11 am with interment at noon followed by lunch.
