Howard A. Gross

HOWARD A. GROSS, age 83, of Joppa, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD, on February 10, 2008. Born in Joppa, MD, he was the son of the late John Henry and Ida Helen Gross. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1985 after 37 years of service. A member of Maple View Baptist Church, he enjoyed clock collecting and loved to go to yard sales.

Mr. Gross is survived by his wife, Audrey Elizabeth Eichelberger Gross; a son, Rev. Richard Gross and his wife, Wanda, of Spencer, NC; a sister-in-law, Doris Plummer and her husband, Emery, of Edgewood, MD; a nephew, Bob Gross and his wife, Pat, of Roswell, GA; a niece, Janet Gross of Baltimore, MD, and a great nephew, Brian Wheeler and his wife, Rachel, of Conway, AK. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Gross, a brother, and a sister.
