Horace George Shelley Iii

Horace George Shelley III, age 58, of Littlestown, PA passed away on January 18, 2018. Born in Aberdeen, MD, he was the son of Horace George Shelley Sr. and Edith Constance (Turner) Shelley. Born and raised in Harford County, he graduated from Joppatowne High School in 1977 where he played football and was a member of the first State Championship team in 1975. He has lived in Littlestown, PA for the past 6 years. He retired from warehouse distribution in 2011. He enjoyed attending all sporting events, particularly his children’s. He also enjoyed researching his genealogy with his father-in-law, John Belme.

Mr. Shelley is survived by his wife, Barbara Shelley; children, Nadine (Joseph) Tutela of Long Valley, NJ, Brianna Shelley of Baltimore, Hannah Shelley of Littlestown, PA, Hailey Shelley of Littlestown, PA and Justin Shelley of Baltimore; grandchildren, Olivia Tutela and Rocco Tutela; former wife, Theresa Shelley; brothers, Ronald Shelley of Baltimore and Harry Faustenhammer of Austria; sisters, Denise Sneed of Edgewood, Lynette Shelley of Abingdon and Doris “Dori” Krammer of Austria.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Russell Leroy Peaco, Jr., Diane L. Williams, Janet F. McElrath and Yvette V. Shelley.
