Horace ''Buck'' Anderson

Horace "Buck" Anderson, age 85, of Frederick, MD, died on December 28, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Horace Weber and Mary C. Fisher Anderson. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country in WWII. A State Farm Independent Agent in Bethesda, MD, he also served as a Chaplain for the VFW, was a life member of the Military Order of the Cootie's and was a leader of Boy Scout Troop 1083 in Rockville, MD. He was very social and liked staying busy by helping others.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ellen Katheryn Crovo Anderson of Frederick, MD; son, Gary K. Anderson and wife, Bonnie, of Belcamp, MD; grandchildren, Robyn Budd of White Marsh, MD, Susan Hyatt of Hornbeck, LA, Alexandra L. Bussey and her husband, Edward Charles Bussey IV, of Aberdeen, MD, Brittany K. and Laura L. Anderson, both of Belcamp, MD; and great grandchildren, Montreal, Malik, Micah, Lillian, Allie, Emily, Inara and Alanna.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Robert E. Anderson.
