Hildegard Hogan

Hildegard Hogan, of Abingdon, MD, died at the age of 90 on October 16, 2016 at her home. She was born in Wertach, Germany to Josef Anton and Maria Magdalena (Schilling) Dorn and was the wife of the late Andy Whitson Hogan Jr. She had worked as a beautician and liked to travel, particularly out West to the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone areas. She loved nature and bird watching, and also enjoyed knitting, crafts and floral exploration. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Richard A. Hogan (Leticia) of Parkville; grandchildren, Branden C. Hogan of Essex and Stephanie R. Farnsworth of Ellicott City; and great-grandchildren, Victoria and Sofia Farnsworth both of Ellicott City.
