Hilbert (Steve) Stephens

HILBERT (STEVE) STEPHENS, 85, of Bel Air died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on December 15, 2002. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Eugene Enoch and Bertha Jones Stephens. A resident of Harford County for 13 years, he worked at Baltimore Gas and Electric for 43 years where he was a gas manufacturing supervisor. He was a member of the Boumi Temple, the Sharon Lodge for 50 years and Oak Grove Baptist Church for 13 years.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ethel Emma Zepp Stephens; two daughters, Barbara Rodriguez and her husband Alvaro of Bel Air and Elizabeth Butterfield of Riverview, Florida; four grandchildren, Debbie Clarkson of York, South Carolina, Dawn Grandizio of Bel Air, Vickey Anderson of Vienna, Virginia and Frank Costin of Westminster; and seven great grandchildren.
