HESTER FISHER, age 81, of Bel Air, died on January 8, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Bel Air, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Alfred and Sarah Mabel Smith Jackson and the wife of 54 years of the late Joshua Eugene Fisher, Jr. A homemaker, she was a lifelong resident of Harford County whose entire 11 year school career was distinguished by perfect attendance. She was a member of Ames United Methodist Church since 1937 and enjoyed Bible Study and watching cooking shows. Her family always came first.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by one son, Paul V. Fisher of Aberdeen; seven daughters, Jeannette Pulliam of Wilmington, DE, Victoria A. Stevenson of St. Louis, MO, Lynn L. Fisher of Wilmington, DE, Faith M. Gregg of Havre de Grace, Terry R. Fisher of Pittsburgh, PA, Kathy A. Guthrie of Georgetown, DE, and Kim K. Daniels of Edgewood; two sisters, Sally Greene of Forest Hill, and Marie Waldon of Havre de Grace; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great granddaughters.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Fisher was predeceased by two sons, Richard D. Fisher and Martin B. Fisher; and three grandsons, Patrick D. Fisher, Miles V. Fisher, and Joshua P. Fisher.
