Herman Procell

Herman Procell, age 82, of Edgewood, MD, died on May 24, 2009 at Johns Hopkins Bayview, Baltimore, MD. Born in Noble, LA, he was one of seven children of the late Henry C. and Annie Leone Procell. A 20 year veteran with the U.S. Army, he worked for 26 years with the Ordnance Center and School at Aberdeen Proving Ground. An Edgewood resident for 42 years, he was a deacon at Edgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Procell is survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma King Procell of Edgewood, MD; sons, Lawrence R. Procell and wife, Suzanne, of Edgewood, MD and Kenneth H. Procell and wife, Mary, of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Patricia P. Wilkins and husband, Anthony, of Duluth, GA; brother, Ernest Procell of Noble, LA; five grandchildren, Christina E. Serra of Revere Beach, MA, LCpl Matthew L. Procell USMC of Hawaii, Kara A. Procell of Bel Air, MD, Caroline L. Procell of Edgewood, MD, and Katherine O. Procell of Bel Air, MD.
