Herman "Jonesie" C, Jones

Herman Clark Jones, 86 years old of Joppatowne, Maryland on January 8, 2022 passed from this earthly life to his Eternal home with Jesus Christ. Herman was a loving husband to June Ann Roberts-Jones for the last 60 years and Dad to the late sons, Daris Jones and Bryant Jones Sr. Herman was the son of Sandusky Jones and Elizabeth Ann of Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Herman served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1960 after being Honorably discharged, he entered the Iron Workers Union at Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, MD where he spent 43 years working as lead welder, nicknamed the “Golden Arm”.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six grandsons, Bryant Jr., Ryan, Matthew, Alexander, Austin and Kyle Jones along with Clorissa Ann and four great grandsons, Cameron, Jacoby, Callum and Braxton. He is also survived by three sisters, Charlotte Coburn, Julia Hall and Alberta Peterson.

Arrangements made by McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon, MD and will be a Military graveside funeral on January 20. 2022 at 12 pm at Highview Memorial Gardens (Marine Corp section) in Fallston, MD.
