Herbert Floyd Simms

Herbert Floyd Simms, age 81, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 12, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Glen Arm, MD, he was the son of the late Herbert John and Anna Minnie Beyer Simms. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He was a resident of Harford County for 39 years, a member of Bel Forest Baptist Church and had his own carpentry business. He loved Willie the cat and Whitmans chocolates and was a "Mr. Fix It" who could work on anything. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and Ravens Football.

Mr. Simms is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn J. Osborne Simms; son, Gabriel K. Harris and wife, Claudia, of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Kimberly R. Perrone and husband, Michael, and Karena L. Sams and husband, Kevin, all of Bel Air; and grandchildren, Gabriel Sams, Ethan Sams, Travis Perrone, Faith Perrone, James Harris, Carolina Harris and Santiago Harris.
